Word Choice: 

     is the use of precise, vivid words to communicate effectively and naturally. It helps create style through the use of specific nouns, lively verbs and adjectives, and accurate, well-placed modifiers.

• use adjectives to describe events, people, and items
• use adverbs to describe intensity and feeling
• use strong verbs
• be very specific
• remember you are trying to draw a reader in-help them to see and experience what you are writing about
